What we do, day to day
We provide managed IT services to small businesses across the Portland metro — primarily independent healthcare and healthcare-adjacent practices. Help desk, backups, patching, HIPAA, vendor coordination, the works. Calm, steady, local.
Help desk and end-user support. Your team calls or messages us, not a relative. Tickets are tracked from open to close. A live local person answers — day, evening, or weekend. We handle the small stuff (printer dropped off the network, password reset, new staff onboarding) quietly so it doesn't add up.
Backup, recovery, and business continuity. Tested backups — not 'we have backups, we think.' Onsite and offsite. Documented restore procedures. If something happens — ransomware, hardware failure, a flood — your practice is back online in hours, not days.
HIPAA and compliance. We run living HIPAA security risk assessments, not one-time binders. BAAs with every vendor that touches PHI. Encryption at rest and in transit. Access controls, audit logs, and a staff training cadence that becomes a habit. PCI-DSS questionnaires for payment compliance get the same calm treatment.
Cybersecurity. Endpoint protection, network monitoring, MFA, phishing testing, and an incident response plan you've actually reviewed. We focus on the controls that hold up in a real-world audit — not just the ones that look good in a quote.
Patch and update cadence. Server, desktops, imaging integrations. On a schedule, with rollback plans. We coordinate with the practice management software vendors so updates don't break the things the practice depends on.
Vendor coordination. We handle the calls to Dentrix, RevolutionEHR, Cornerstone, eClinicalWorks, and the rest. We speak their language so your office manager doesn't have to translate.
Imaging and clinical device integration. Intraoral cameras, panoramic and cone-beam imaging, OCT, fundus camera, in-house IDEXX and Antech, digital rads. We get them on the network, configured to the practice management software, and keep them there.
Workstation refresh planning. We track your fleet — what's end-of-life, what's at risk, what needs to go this year, what can wait. Replacement happens on a planned cadence, not in a panic at 11pm.
Who we're a fit for. Independent owner-operators in dental, optometry, veterinary, behavioral health, and adjacent practices. 5–20 PCs, one to three providers, one or two locations.
